Powerful Women

A major part of my work in the last few years has been learning more about underrepresented women in the music literature. One of my projects with Albatross has been presenting many recitals worth of works by female composers from North and South America, and this inquiry has stretched into my solo work as well. There’s a massive variety in terms of style and texture in this program, designed to show the stalwart presence of women at every stage of music history.
